Is In-Home Care for me?
In Home Care may be for you if you don’t have access to other childcare services, or if your children’s needs cannot be met by existing services.
Some typical examples where we can help include:
➢ You or your child has an illness or disability
➢ You or your partner works shift work or non-standard hours
➢ You have three or more children under school age
➢ You live in a remote or rural setting where childcare is difficult to find
About Educators
Educators are interviewed and selected by dedicated Wanslea staff who are qualified in Children’s Services.
Wanslea and our Educators operate under the In-Home Care standards and Wanslea In-Home Care policies and procedures.
Wanslea provides a high level of support and training to Educators, and monitors the quality of care they provide.
Educators are over 18 years of age and experienced in the care of children. They:
➢ Have access to toy libraries and playgroups
➢ Are qualified in First Aid
➢ Have a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
➢ Have public liability insurance
