Y2Y (Youth to Youth)

This service provides individual counselling, group work, training and mentoring for young people who are children of parents with a mental illness.

We provide information about the nature and impact of mental illness and talk through questions from young people, as well as helping you to develop skills for coping with challenges.

We assist young people and their families with safety planning and the development of support systems to help you through a crisis.

We will work with you whereever it is safe - this may be your home, our office or community venue.

We also run recreational and peer support programs.

We offer community education and collaborate with government and non-government agencies.

Contact us for more information or call us during business hours on (08) 9245 2441.
You can also find out more from the national COPMI website and the AICAFMHA (Australian Infant, Child, Adolescent & Family Mental Health Association) website.
