Salary: $92,974 - $99,570 per annum pro rata (plus generous NFP salary packaging options)

    The Role

     

  • Demonstrated experience at a senior level in clinically supervising and training others in the application of a variety of evidence based assessment and intervention skills

  • Extensive practical experience in case work with vulnerable families and children where there may be substance misuse, domestic violence and mental health issues present

  • Demonstrated ability to  professionally supervise a multi-disciplinary team, monitoring professional standards and complex ethical issues

  • Expertise in family/care giver systems theory and interventions, behavioural and cognitive behavioural therapies and their application

  • A knowledge of evidence-based literature on best practice in clinical settings

  • Experience in the facilitation of practical and peer support to social workers and family support workers

  • Coach - must be accredited

  • Clinical supervisor – must have experience providing clinical supervision to social workers

     

     

    You will bring with you all the essential criteria ….

     

  • Degree in Social Work or recognised equivalent

  • Applicants should hold a BA Social Work with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a clinical setting

  • Candidates eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers need only apply

  • Extensive experience working young people and families in crisis and/or with child protection issues

  • High level of knowledge and understanding of family functioning, child development and parenting skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a successful multi-disciplinary team

  • Proven high level interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

  • Satisfactory current National Police Clearance

  • Demonstrated understanding of ‘child safe’ environment

  • Current Working With Children Card

  • Current West Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a road worthy motor vehicle suitable for work purposes that is licensed at the Standard Rate
