Community Engagement Workers- Connected Beginnings

Wanslea is seeking skilled and dedicated Community Engagement Workers to join the Connected Beginnings team in Kalgoorlie.


These new and exciting roles are responsible for the improved engagement of Aboriginal children from birth to 5 years, and their families in early childhood, health and family support services, within the Connected Beginnings initiative in Kalgoorlie – Boulder.


We are looking for candidates who are flexible, innovative and are passionate about making a difference.


You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of people from diverse backgrounds.


This is an excellent opportunity to work in the not-for-profit sector providing quality services to families and children.




  • Diploma of Children’s Services, Early Childhood Education, Human Services,  or approved equivalent

  • Ability to engage positively with children, families, stakeholders and wider community

  • A good understanding of issues impacting on isolated, vulnerable and disadvantaged families

  • Current National Police Clearance

  • Current WWC

  • WA Drivers licence and access to roadworthy motor vehicle
