Coordinator - ECEI (Midland)


Wanslea has been selected as a Partner in the Community to deliver Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) services as part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
 

This position is responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of the Early Childhood Early Intervention program in the region in accordance with the contract, program guidelines, ECEI best practice principles and relevant legislative obligations.

 

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge and application of early childhood development, developmental delay and the early intervention service sector
  • Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS, the ECEI approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles
  • Demonstrated leadership and change management skills including the ability to develop and support an effective team
  • Proven ability to form community networks and effectively interpret the needs of individuals and community groups
  • Proven ability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and families in ways that build capacity for inclusion and lead to positive outcomes for children and their families
  • Highly developed conceptual and analytical ability
  • Demonstrated understanding of "child safe" environment
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to develop and maintain productive and sustainable community and professional partnerships
  • Proven ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and work effectively under pressure
  • Demonstrated knowledge Workplace Health and Safety responsibilities
  • Demonstrated high-level administrative skills including the ability to use technology to record, retrieve and report information
  • Demonstrated skills in continual service improvement and change management

 

Essential Criteria: 

  • Current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence and access to a roadworthy motor vehicle suitable for work purposes that is licensed at the Standard Rate
  • Current Working with Children Card
  • Satisfactory current National Police Clearance

 

Qualifications:

Degree in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Physiotherapy) or other relevant professional field
