Salary: $82,619 - $85,977 per annum pro rata (including salary packaging)

Contract: 6 months fixed term part time (22.5 hours per week)

Coordinator - Outside School Hours Care

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated person to join our team as the Coordinator at the Wanslea Outside School Hours Care services located throughout the Perth Metropolitan area.  

This exciting and important role is responsible for the management of the after school care service, which includes developing, maintaining and reviewing policies and procedures of the OSHC services in conjunction with other Wanslea services, allocation of tasks across the team to ensure that the services are operating effectively, including rostering of staff.

The successful applicant will possess a Bachelor of Education or equivalent, have experience in leadership of staff across multiple sites, proven knowledge and experience coordinating Outside School Hours Care, Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (WA) Act 2012 and Regulations, including My Time Our Place Framework and Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children

We are seeking the following:

  • Degree or Diploma qualification of Education or equivalent
  • Current Police Certificate
  • Current WA “C” Class Diver Licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, Emergency Asthma Training and Anaphylaxis Management Training
  • Current Working with Children Check

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in liaising with other agencies and representing an organisation in sector forums
  • Sound knowledge of current funding environment
  • Experience in the development and delivery of training
