    About you


    We are looking for a professional, driven and dedicated individual with experience in improving quality systems and understanding of legislation, policies and procedures.


    The Role


  • Analyse, develop, document and improve Wanslea policies, procedures, internal review processes and quality systems, and to monitor these against agreed targets

  • Develop and maintain an organisational policy and procedure review schedule

  • Review and document  policies and procedures under the guidance of the Quality and Compliance Manager

  • Identify policy issues and develop solutions in collaboration with key internal stakeholders including senior management and operations teams

  • Maintain and manage master documentation and version control for policies and procedures

  • Provide assistance to the Quality and Compliance Manager to undertake operational and compliance internal audits, prepare reports and follow up on identified issues

  • Identify improvement opportunities with management and act as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality

  • Maintain accurate records, reports and data collection in ways prescribed by Wanslea’s legislative and contractual requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant area (e.g. business, commerce, nursing)

  • Demonstrated policy writing experience

  • Demonstrated internal auditing experience

  • Awareness of legislation, policies and procedures

  • Demonstrated skills in contributing to improving quality systems

  • Strong consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills

  • Excellent administrative skills including time management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and projects

  • Excellent word, excel, report writing and general IT skills

  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

  • Demonstrated understanding of "child safe" environment

  • Current West Australian ‘C’ Class driver’s licence

  • Satisfactory criminal record check
