    About you

    We are looking for passionate, dedicated and highly skilled Senior Social Worker / Senior Case Worker who is resourceful, motivated and can demonstrate initiative. You will have the natural ability to easily engage and build rapport quickly with families and children at risk as well as have a high level of professional accountability and integrity.

    The Role


  • Ensure the delivery of  a professional casework service to families and children at risk

  • Provide social work services to families in their own homes and supervision to the Family Support Workers who work with them

  • Participate in the development and delivery of training

  • Provide case supervision and consultation to Family Support Workers and social work students

  • Initiate collaborative professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders



    You will bring with you all the essential criteria ….


  • Degree in Social Work or recognised equivalent

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience

  • Eligible for Membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers

  • Extensive experience working with families and children in crisis and/ or with child protection issues

  • High level of knowledge and understanding of family functioning, child development and parenting skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a successful multi-disciplinary team

  • Experience in leadership, supervision of staff and case management

  • Satisfactory current National Police Clearance

  • Demonstrated understanding of ‘child safe’ environment

  • Current Working With Children Card

  • Current West Australian Driver’s Licence
